In the article on droperidol and acutely agitated patients, Dr. Todd Gengerke reported that, in patients treated with intramuscular injections of ziprasidone, the rate of hypoxia did not differ significantly compared with patients who received droperidol or lorazepam (”Droperidol Found to Be Quickest in Sedating Acutely Agitated Patients,” October 2005, p. 22).
